Thinking of trading for an 87 4runner

I have an 1990 isuzu pickup, 2.6L 4 cyl fuel injected. 145k miles. 3 inch body lift. Couple of mods like foglights and a rollbar with lights.

I have found an 87 four runner, 22R. 165k miles. He might be interested in a trade.

They are very similar- 5 spd, 4x4, 31's.

Would this be a good trade? His 4runner seems to be in good condition, especially cosmetically it exceeds mine.

My main question is, what are some problem areas to look for on an 1st gen 4runner?

idk where in the country, or world you are, but check the frame and body for rust and def. go for a test drive..
