Yes, you're right. I was just explaining the different way that the 2nd row seats work in a vehicle with a 3rd row.

Thank you, definitely helpful! I recently designed a cargo/sleep platform for my GX470 and I'm curious if it would fit in a 4th gen 4Runner. The pictures are promising... Looks like I'll need to find someone local who would let me take some measurements.

What are those plastic covers called? My 3rd row is missing them (is there a part number on there?)

I’m curious about the side brackets for the 3rd row.. does anyone know if those side brackets would fit mounted in the same cubby for a non-3rd row version? I know there are other things to account for such as the seat belts, and floor mounts etc but I need to know about those side brackets if they’ll fit in a non-3rd row model?

My 2008 SR5 has the third row
