Those with lifts, question about transmissions

I’ve been saving up for a while to get the Bilstein 5100s all around with the Toytec 3” leveling kit because I’m ready to make my 4Runner the way it should.

But I recently heard that when trucks get lifted, transmissions will sometimes get some wear and tear/issues happen. With anyone with a lift, have y’all ever had any serious mechanical issues happen?

Or just any other opinions would be great thanks!

My truck has been modified for 200k miles with lift, armor, tires and the transmission functions the same as the day I bought it. Seamless shifts.

I have completed a complete fluid exchange twice.

The A750f is the same transmission in the 100 series Land Cruisers which regularly tip the scales in excess of 7,000 pounds. Sometimes over 10,000 pounds with trailer with no reliability issues.

Lift kits don't affect transmissions but people lifting a truck will usually add larger tires that will affect your final gear ratio which in turn could make your transmission work harder. If you get larger tires you should consider changing your differential gears to compensate.

A SUSPENSION lift will only put stress on the other SUSPENSION components...the transmission is a part of the power train, I'm not sure how one could ever affect the other...unless you get ridiculous with your tire size. I've been lifted for almost two years, only things I've had to replace are suspension related. I.e. ball joints, end links, rubber bushings, etc...
