I paid 13.5k for mine. Same exact year, mileage, engine, sport package, color, everything. Only difference was mine was 1 owner in Texas and Oklahoma so no rust (I bought from the owners not a dealer). If you can get the service records online for the 4 owners that owned it, it might be a pretty good deal.

Nice quality 4th gens get picked up quick and are hard to come by in my experience. It would be good to be ready to pay up 12k if you want it bad enough if the service records are good, otherwise use that to bargain down the price to 10k.

As long as the frame checks out, I was thinking of offering 10,000?

If it has no bad rust and the mileage can be confirmed by say Carfax, you're going to be lucky if they take that offer IMHO, but I would try none the less, worst they can say is No and you have to make another offer.

I took the effort to check what history I could of this 4Runner on Toyota Owners website, here's the brief info from service done at Toyota dealers that was listed, I also researched the dealerships to find where they're located...

The first history was from 2005 to 2011, 3 reports from 2 different dealers in Utah, so the 4Runner spend it early life in Utah.
Then an unknown dealer in 2012, and then the last entry in 2014 from a Toyota dealership in Florida.

So from the last entry in 2014 the mileage was 100,061, so the mileage listed in the ad appears to be genuine!

Oh wow thank you so much!!! I appreciate it alot.

i would try and fight the dealer on the fact its a 4 owner vehicle, and that it was used as a fleet (rental) car.. doesnt have the best maintenance records. start at 10K, and maybe you can meet somewhere around 11?

im in the northeast and clean 4runners are really hard to come by, i bought my 2008 sport V6 with 107,000 miles for 13,000.. in November 2016(trading in a mustang gt),the original asking price the dealer wanted was 15K. it came out of virginia with good records up to 60,000 with 3 owners before me.

Another data point: Bought a one owner 2007 SR5 V6 100k with complete service records from day one. The under chassis has some light rust from being a New England vehicle all it's days. Under 13K out the door.
