lets say the motor for your power window goes out. I dont see how the muffler swap would void the warranty on that out. I assume....ASSUME....if the warranty issue isnt directly related to the aftermarket mod, it should be OK.

I just ordered this muffler myself. I am excited to hear how it sounds and to free up a little power when pulling my trailer. Now to keep myself from wasting money on an intake that I know will do nothing for me but make cool sounds :frisky:

I have the Magnaflow and love it. It has a deep sound with no resonance whatsoever.
BTW- don't be so sure about that intake Brock, since I cut mine up I get 42 MPG and go 0-60 in 6.2 sec. Just sayin'.

Never really towed anything like a camper, but in my experience, the muffler gave me more power in the higher RPM range rather than the low, where I would think you need it more if towing.
Muffler OR "Cat-Back" will have no effect on Warranty (or performance for that matter) but as you pointed out (refreshingly) you are looking for exhaust note, tough to do with a V6 but IMO nobody does it better than Magnaflow and if down the road you do some complimentary "air pump" mods (In/Out) your "Out" is already as good as it gets.

Thanks! Good to know. IMO truly noticeable power really only comes from forced induction (fingers crossed for a TRD supercharger announcement miracle), 5-10HP here and there with intakes and exhaust is not worth the $. I just want to sound more hardcore hahaha.
is there any way you could make a video of your exhaust from the outside of the car and post it? I am really curious so see with it sounds like from the exterior. Also how is your cab noise?

They already announced the SC, you've got roughly one year to save before the release date.
But to stay on topic, Borla makes a catback system that sounds good, or you can buy just the muffler so you can have the tip exit the RH side behind the rear wheel and get rid of the sulfer smell when you step on it.

Again, CAI or CAT back exhaust provide no real HP gains. They DO provide noise though. If you like a whistle, get a CAI. If you like to hear a whine, get a CAT back exhaust. If you like a growl, get a vehicle with a V-8. If you want to sound simply amazing, get a Ferrari (going through a tunnel) lol. With that said, here is what will provide HP gains:
1. CAI+larger throttle body+new engine MAP+CAT back exhaust.
2. Supercharger
3. Turbo
If someone will show me a dyno run with only a CAI or CAT back and you get more than 1-3 hp I will be impressed. I will hear you coming down the street though.
Do you guys think Toyota would not do these minor things if they increased performance or efficiency? While I am on the subject, why aren't superchargers and turbos on every vehicle if the performance is so much better? The answer is cost to performance gained at the expense of durability and reliability. The truth hurts fellas.
