Throttle Body Spacer-- Worthy Investment?

Helix Power Tower, Is it worth it? Any "seat feel-able" gains? A buddy of mine bought one for his taco, (lifted 2wd) and swears it has made a difference, but i can't tell at all... His has the 3.4 too. What do ya'll think?

Maybe it works by the seat-of-the-pants feel, but because of the way the intake on the 3.4 is set up, these don't (and can't) make any difference.

I've had one for like 3 or 4 months, but I haven't put it on yet.. lol

3.4s are direct port injection (meaning air and fuel don't meet til they are in the combustion chamber) rendering those things useless;swirling air doesn't create horsepower or MPGs.
