Meet Baker. The door to door salesman repellent

hahaha striking terror into the hearts of the mailman and salesman. That looks like one good natured, happy dog.

On a separate note, that Eco Orange is actually one heck of a cleaner. Cleaned the seats on my T4, bathtub, sink, stove top range. Its cuts like a degreaser, but its not really oily or tough to get off your hands or finishes. Good stuff. The quart I bought will dilute to 512oz of actual cleaner, or about 16 spray bottles full. At the $50 I paid, it turns out to $3.12 per bottle; Maybe even a little cheaper than the cleaners sold at home cheapo. Might be my cynicism is slowly fading?

I may be investing in some signage...

Cool, hopefully it continues to work out. I've been finding a ton of new uses for that Optimum NoRinse stuff.

I have that last sign on my gate. No takers yet...

I think the salespeople around Atlanta must've gotten the hint about proper tactics--I've had a couple since moving here, and when you answer the door, they're way back from the door, and don't come close unless you seem interested. I'm friendly to them, but I rarely buy anything at my door--I like time to read up on stuff and talk myself out of a foolish spur-of-the-moment purchase.

2 eighty pound german shepherds are a great deterrent. Ive tried to steal my parents dogs once or twice, but they always seem to notice

I had a 135 Lb Rottweiler with a head the size of a basketball,he doesn't bark too much he just stares you down and most people would jump back and forget what to say when his head pops out of the door.He past away 12 years ago i missed him.

lol. That's exactly what happens at my place. My dog is one of the goofiest and sweetest dogs on the planet, but if you knock on the door or ring the doorbell, he goes apesh*t. I usually crack the door enough to say, "i can't hold him back for long" and they bolt.

He also hates vacuum cleaners and for whatever reason, the nextel beep.

....
