timing belt HELP please.

I have the TB installed and the truck is running perfectly. I talked to the mechanic at the dealer where I purchased the belt and water pump. It does not matter where the cams are when you remove the belt. After removing the belt, turn the crank to TDC , then turn the cam pulleys to line up with the timing notches on the #3 timing cover. Put the belt on lining up the marks on the belt with the marks on the cam pulleys. Turn the crank two revolutions and if the pulley marks are still lined up the the timing notches, you are good to go. It doesn't matter how many times you turn the cam pulleys around as long as you turn them in a clockwise direction. Thanks to everyone who tried to help with this problem.
