Tire size adjustment?

Hello y'all, I just put 17" Tundra rims on my 99 4runner that came with 15's, should I have her aligned? I'm also considering replacing my shocks for comfort, or possibly lifting an inch or 2 for cosmetic reasons. Any suggestions from those who have done this tire increase? It's a 2wd street vehicle that sees a lot of highway time btw.

No need to get an alignment just due to the tire / wheel change unless there was evidence of wear on the other tires.

The tires I got were GY Wranglers from a full size Chevy truck the had slight toe wear and 30k. I have an 18 hr drive in 2weeks, guess an alignment is in my near future.

In that case, it'd be wise to send the $50 or so for the alignment.
