Tires for towing with my 96 t4r. Want best MPG's

Howdy yall! I have firestone dest. le's and they feel like crap when towing my drift car. The car is about 2500lbs and the trailer is about 1000lbs. I was thinking of upgrading to the A/T versions but want to get the best MPG's. The A/T's are only like 4lbs heaver at 34lbs each.
My avrage MPG's are as follows:

17 city ( 1mpg less before intake and exhaust )
21+ highway ( 1mpg less before intake and exhaust )
15-17 towing 3500lbs ( 1mpg less before intake and exhaust )


My truck is used 95-98% on road so Im sure highway tires are the best choice for the best MPG"s but I want something more stable then these nobby soft sidewall all season bs wannabe truck tires.
Theres just too many variables to pick the lightest whatever ply tire for best MPG's.

I didnt get much sleep last night (time for a new bed) so dont mind me if I'm all over the place.

I dont pay too much attention to mpgs but I have Hancook Dynapro ATMs on my runner and I pull my camper which weighs around ~3700lbs loaded. They feel pretty good to me.

I happen to be a fan of the Revo II's LT...so far great in the snow, awesome off road, feel great towing (although I'm only towing 2500 lbs. or so loaded) but do 22,000 mi. a year on them.
