Reminds me of the Honda Element...a car/SUV that never took off but i love the concept of it! If Toyota can make it right, then count me in as a potential customer.

I really like it too. I would highly consider it if/when I need to replace my 4Runner. But since I like it, that means it's never going to be released here.

I had an Element. It was ugly af, but it had a slick Honda manual transmission and a ton of room inside, vinyl floors, plastic quarter panels. Never really had to worry about any wear and tear. I wish I had never sold it. The TJ is a van that took an ugly pill.

Oh wow, the Plymouth push button Torque-Flight AT. My Dad had one of those - ca 1960-ish. (I was in high school). :hippie:

So did mine. A '62 Valiant. :nerd: I remember that the pushbuttons would occasionally fall out.

Thankfully, he traded it in on a '68 Mustang (just as I was entering high school).

I like the van, but I'd rather have an Element any day of the week.

You have the same thoughts/luck as me. It seems if I DON'T watch my favorite team in a big game, they win. If I WANT something, it's not offered. If I DON'T want something, it's offered all over the place. Cheap too.

Seriously. I LOVE wagons, but we're not a wagon country. We love our big SUV's.

I do agree with a lot of the sentiment that it's pretty ugly, but I feel like it has a lot of "concept" car ugly with it and would be refined if they do ever decide to have it hit the road. We'll see I guess.

Love it. I hope they bring it to the USA. I think it would sell like crazy. I would buy one in a second if it came with a proven powertrain combo and awd/4wd.

I guess it's cool, but why doesn't Toyota adopt Ford's approach of a global platform? The Tacoma gets a pathetic frame compared to a Hilux, and Toyota already has a lineup of vans(HiAce and LiteAce). The NA market always gets a dumbed down model.
