TJ's Jade "Build"
Thought I'd start a "Build" Thread since I decided to start doing stuff to my t4r and helps kill time at work.
Started off with a 96' 3rd Gen until I was in a hit & run and spun into a wall. Served me great and saved my life. Walked out with a slight fracture in my back but could have been worse.
In between my 96' and my current 01' I drove this Volvo 850 Turbo I got from my uncle. It was a fun car to drive.
Sold the Volvo when I found this beauty. Pic is when from the lot as it was sitting when I drove by.
I called the stealership the day before and they said it was green, thinking it was the forest green which I didnt care for. Wasnt much info on Craigslist and we decided to drive around to look for 4runners and this Honda Dealership was our first stop and my eyes lit up. Purchased back in 2012 with 139k on it with one owner paid a little under 9k and at the time I never purchased a car from a dealership so I didnt budge much on the price. I was still happy with the outcome. Posted some pics below of how it sat before this past weekend.
Got rid of the sport wheels when I came up on a good deal for some 5 stars.
Plasti Dipped 5 stars ditched the running boards
99' Talls on all 4 corners
Current state as of 3/11/2017
4runner Bilstein 5100s
Front: TRD Tundras
Rear: OME 906
Not the best photographer, so Im sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.
