too dark

The center console storage area is too dark at night. Any ideas how to install a light there. I was thinking of just doing something simple like adding a flashlight with a clip and it would clip onto the inside cover of the console.

Ideally, i would like to have a spring switch that turns on the light automatically when the cover is opened.

Any ways, please share some of your ideas.

Thanks, not bad, but i would prefer something that wont get in the way. I put so much stuff in there that i might knock the light right off.

well , why dont you use the extra plug for the cig lighter or splice into it & install a small led light inside then wire in a switch, super easy to do. or maybe just get super bright map light bulbs
