Took delivery on my TRD Pro

Hey guys, its been a while since I last posted here so I'll get right to it!
So I traded in my white 2015 TRD Pro for a black graphite 2018 TRD Pro.
It took about 7 months to assemble the vehicle and then ship it from Japan but it finally arrived on may 23rd

My first impression is that I simply love it, I mean I knew exactly what I was getting so thats no surprise.
A few subtle changes that I noticed are as follows; TRD Pro badge on the hatch, TRD Pro imprint on the headrest of the front seats, and the center council has a carbon fiber type finish. I also think that the taillights look a bit more smoked than the 2015 model.
Other than that there is no significant changes that I have noticed aside from slightly better gas milage. Im averaging about 16.5 MPG hand calculated city driving and about 18 MPG on the highway.
Some minor improvements that I've made in the several weeks that I've had it are a gobi ladder along with a roof rack made by drabbits, nerf bars, and the addition of a subwoofer.
Sorry guys, didn't really get a chance to take too many pics yet. Nor do I know how to rotate them as it turns out...

Truth be told it was at 40k miles and it was time for new tires, front brakes were pulsating, transmission and diff flushes, and a battery. Plus it had a few scratches here and there from going on trails. They gave me 37,500 for a trade in and I couldn't turn it down

I picked up my TRD Pro in April and (I’m sure it’ll be no surprise to you) the gas mileage will go way up after the break in period. Mine average was 16.3 for the first 1000 miles, but now at 2800 miles my average is 18.1

Not bad deal on it , one thing I like about the 4Runner is it’s residual value .

You don't like scratches and yet you traded a white for black...the black will blend in with the pavement well :bolt:

Wow nice trade in but curious to see what the dealership will retail it for, one would have to assume at minimum $42,000 or slightly less than a new one. What dealer?

Could you elaborate on the subwoofer you added?

I had a line out converter that I spliced in on my 2015 4Runner but I really didn't want to cut any wires on the new one.
Taco tunes has a plug and play harness that they claim doesn't need any splicing to add a subwoofer but I've come to find out they don't have a wire for the remote turn on. I used the 12v plug in the center counsel for the remote wire.

Long story short I have a Line Out Converter (LOC) to power up my amp and sub and it doesn't interfere with the factory radio or Entune

I traded it in to a rather large local dealership by the name of Northtown. They have always treated me well although their service department is not the greatest. I tried to keep an eye to see what they were going to resell my 2015 for but I unfortunately I missed it.
