Top of battery wet.... ???

Changed my battery last week, I spent some time adjusting my headlights last night and noticed the top of the battery was wet... Is this a common thing? It was a Duralast Gold from Autozone

I'd be interested to know the reason too. I always assumed it was because the battery periodically needs to vent as internal pressures change. My battery does the same thing around the caps a bit.

Pretty much. Its normal. I cant even begin to count the number of people who have come into my store panicking over that heh. Auto parts retail, aint it grand?:fear:
