Sorry, had to vote for the soldier. In Uniform
No offense, I am sure your daughter and son-in-law are great people, but knowing what an E6 gets paid and has to go through, I have to give my vote to him and his wife. I could be totally wrong and the guy could be worthless, but still feel obligated.

Hater. I would vote for those in uniforms, too. But I would rather do that on my own terms. In my opinion, if a fellow T4R owner posts a link reaching out for help to those that are 4R owners to help contribute to his cause by voting for his daughter & hubby then by all means I shall obey his wishes and vote! If I came across the bridal website myself without Zon making a mention of it, and I saw the marine...I would vote for him too. However, this guy is genuinely trying to help his daughter & hubby win a trip to Mexico by posting the direct link to vote for the couple. Plus, Zon's baby girl has 989 votes (I just clicked "vote" to make it 989 after double checking to make sure it was Mexico!!) while the marine has 1,3xx votes. I think he's good to go for now, but let's focus on Zon's girl! I of course have respect for those who serves & protect our country! I had 4 friends who just got back from Afghanistan & Iraq. Two college friends of mine are currently attending VMI, and I am sure VMI is preparing them for wars in the future.

Yes I would vote for you if you were on there an in uniform. I assume gratitude toward service in the protection of our freedom is not welcome on this site in favor of shameless plugs. So be it.
FWIW, If it were my son or daughter that won, I would encourage them to give the prize to the guy that is doing his part to keep us free. I guess that is just me.
You may want to double check the uniform.

3143 a month... let's say he lives in Granite Bay CA (where this bridal site is) that's another 1785.00 a month, tax free I might add
That makes 4928 a month 59136/yr, plus BAS almost forgot about that 348.44@ 4181.28 a year and any other extra pays he rates that puts him at about 63k/yr with a good portion being tax free, and don't forget medical and retirement are already paid for in that.
Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he makes too much or too little, just saying he makes more than a lot of people think.
Now for the quality of life as an SSGT in the Army I cannot attest to but it can't be that bad, when I was looking at rejoining the military I came across a few accounts that basically said being a private in the Army is better than being a Captain in the Marine Corps and I thought they had it good but what did I know as just another dumbass NCO... jussayin..
