Well its about that time! i have been wanting to put one of these up for a while now but have never gotten around to it. Here is a little back story, i got my first 4runner when i was 15 it was a 98 limited 2WD. it was a great truck but i experienced one winter here in colorado and realized i needed a 4x4... BAD! ended up falling in love with my current 4runner a 2002 sr5 4x4 with 180k and it was CLEAN! Here is how she sits today

finally got around to doing my panhard bar drop me and my buddy made our own out of some square tubing turned out pretty good if you ask me..

Started my rear bumper/tire carrier build today! the idea behind it is to look pretty unique and to be Stout. we got the brackets built and the rear bar capped. i am hoping the bumper should be done by early next week!

Looking good! You'll want to weld in a gusset/cross brace for that panhard drop bracket. Once you go wheeling a little and flex it those welds are going to crack.

well just finished the bumper build this weekend im stoked on how it turned out! this thing is BOMBPROOF! it dropped the rear a bit with 8 wraps so it looks like its time for some 851's. but here it is!

yeah i was not about to do a 4x4 conversion! my first 4runner was a 98 2WD and i sold it and saved up a bit of cash and bought this runner 2002 4x4.
