Hey all. So i have a set of these awesome brackets but the passenger side is contacting the cowl and lifting the hood out of alignment. Every adjustment i make seems to not correct the problem. Im chalk testing it and there a visible line of chalk on the bracket every time i close the hood. Ive also adjusted the bump stops multiple times (they are at their lowest point) angled the brackets in/out and still the hood sits about 4mm higher on the passenger side. Im concerned about the force on the cowl and tension on the hood latch. Just searching for the correct solution. The bracket seems to be making light contact but why would my hood be raised up?
SDHQ are great folks and reported no issues but ive seen some folks on the forum reporting the same. I just dont understand why these are not designed to clear the cowl on the passenger side. To that end does anyone here use these brackets and can anyone provide a solution?
