Toyota 4th gen Mechanic or gearhead in Denver?

Bout to go look at a used 2006 t4r through a private seller in the Denver area and I wanted to bring it to a reputable mechanic to give me the a-ok.


Who wants to make money by putting a car on the lift?


Lemme know. Gonne be in Denver Weds(9/18) and thurs (9/19) late afternooon to look at the truck.

Any recommendations would be great too as I do not know any mechanics this side of the continential divide.

Look for rust on the frame

If over 100k miles, ask about if the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs have been replaces recently. Look for leaking CV boots. I always like to check the engine bay - if the seller hasn't botherered cleaning it up to look nice, I figure they never took car of the truck to begin with.

Cars are located in Broomfield and Lakewood Respectively, so Western Denver i guess.

Probably too late but you might check with Slee Off Road in Golden and see if you could buy an inspection from them.
