On my 2014 I just had to replace 2 door lock actuators (front driver and then front passenger) in quick succession as it's just 3 months out of the 3 year warranty. I called Toyota Canada and asked them if they were able to contribute to the repair and they said no. I asked them if they had any other owners with similar issues and apparently according to the very nice Sabrina that works there, my truck is a special one of a kind unique build. There are NO other 5th Gen trucks built in 2014 that have ever had a door lock fail in Canada.
So is this true is my question - let me know so I can call her back and try again.
