Toyota Certification Process??? Shady Toyota Dealers

I recently purchased a Used 2014 Toyota 4Runner and I have some serious ethical concerns regarding the Toyota salesperson, as well as the sales manager. Does anyone have a good working knowledge of Toyota's Certification process? Does anyone know if lenders (banks or Toyota Financial) offer a better interest rate for a Certified vehicle, over a non-certified vehicle?

Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
