Toyota.com/owners - any experiences?

Hi,

I recently heard about Toyota.com/owners official website. You are supposed to be able to type in a VIN # and see any dealer's service records.

I entered the VIN # for a 2010 PRIUS my GF is about to buy and it came back with 0 results. What does that mean? The car has 39,000 miles on it so I figure it should have some kind of record.

I plan on entering my 3rd Gen into the database tomorrow.

Strange. The Prius SHOULD have something. If the site is correct, then that car never went to Toyota for servicing. When I got my rig, I was able to get what was done to the truck. Nice site

So it turns out the reason the Prius has no service records is because it was a rental car for Hertz and they do their own oil changes.

She ended up buying the Prius. I think it was a good deal even thought it had a rental history.

Details: 2010 Prius II, Silver, 39,000 miles, perfect condition with no dents, scratches or accidents.

Mine's kinda the same. From 0 to 90K there are tons of records; from there on, squat (though I know the guy who owned it).
