toyota security system

I recently bought a used '96 T4R. I am the third owner of the truck. In the glove box, there is a manual for the Toyota security system, and to the left of the e-brake handle on the console is a small knockout plate that says "Toytot Security" with what looks like a red light in the center.

I think the security system may have been installed in the truck when it was new, and possibly I only need a remote control module to run it. How can I check if it has, and how much might a module cost from the dealer?

You just need a new remote alarm which is attached into your 4runner keys. I called to my dealer to purchase one but unfortunately, they are currently back order. But they said it runs around $58. I have to buy it anyways because i cannot arm my alarm whatsoever. -_-
