Toyota TRD Rock Warrior rims for 650$ is that good deal to take?

Hi every one,

On Craigslist i found a set of rims for sale with tires that will need replacing. At first he was asking 900 a month ago, now he asked me if i'd buy it for 650. Thing is i think it's 17' wheel and is that a weird size? Should i stay on 16? Also, the seller says it has tire sensors.... i guess i don't even need that haha, i thought the rims looks nice. I would prefer FJ black rims, but i saw these warrior rims and thought it's a nice alternative option.

Does any one have a set of Toyota TRD Rock Warrior rims with nice set of tires and a lift on their 4runners? If so post pics for me I have a 98 brown limited, i wonder if these warrior rims will look good.

If you all say it's a good buy, I'd buy these rims now and put them in my parents garage to hold onto. I believe sometime around spring or early summer, i would have enough money saved to do a toytec lift, tires and tundra brake mod (a start on my stock runner ).

If you had a tundra then that is a steal. I paid a grand for mine but they came with new bfg at's.

You got a hell of a deal then because I paid like $1065 for a set of 4 of those BFGs.

awesome, good to know the rims are a steal. Yeah the bfg tires dont have much life in it.

I thought i could get these and put on duratracs 285's Sadly nope. I'll have to continue keeping an eye out for a good deal on

- tires
- wheels
- stuff for tundra brake mod

there are such things as lug adaptors. If i had the money i'd get those in a heartbeat.

Are you referring to spacers that converts to 5 lug? If so. i probably would need a spacer anyways to be able to run large tires with no rubbing. Lets say 33's i think? Never seen one in person on a 4runner through. According to duratracs web site, only 2 sizes can be found for 17 wheels. T285/70R17 LT315/70R17

EDIT: Any one done this before? wheel lug converter/spacer. If one can post a link to a good set of spacer/converter that i cant find, i'll buy the wheels/spacer.

I think something like this will solve allow you to use the 5 lug rims if you want to try them...

I have these in the 6 lug pattern and I think they look really good. I would just wait for a 6 lug pattern wheel to show up instead of having to run adapters.
