ToyTec Bilstein 5100 Lift Kit

Hey everyone. So I have a quick question and I am wondering if anyone has done it. I currently run the ToyTec 3" Bilstein 5100 Lift Kit. As of now, everything is just as it was out of the box, but after a bit of time, my front end is just a bit lower than I would like and my rear is a bit high.

What I would like to do is take the front coilovers apart and move them up one notch on the 5100s. Does anyone see a problem with this? How much of a pain is it to take apart the pre-made ToyTec kit? I just want to make sure I'm not screwing myself.

You might want to ask Toytec first. Sometimes they say not to move up from first perch or damage may occur.

I asked them and all I got back was "Our lift kit is preset to 3 inches of lift" basically. That's all fine and dandy, but now I am looking to raise the front just a tad more, which is why I am confused and asking.

Might be easier to add a small spacer to get where you want. This way not to damage what you have and end up spending more money.

I just got off the phone with Wheelers and thats what they recommended. I am planning to do the Bilstein 5110/OME Swap and I want a little rake. So they suggest the 10mm-lift-enhancer kit.

I haven't measured recently, and I don't remember the numbers, but I will check soon and see what I get. You mean center of the hub to the fender right?

If I remember correctly when I lifted and waited for a bit of settling, the front was about 1.25" lower than the rear.

[MENTION=135006]4RunninMD[/MENTION] I thought about that, but after doing some research, there is already a small tophat spacer on the Toytec kit. I'm not super keen on adding a second spacer on top of that which is why bumping them up just a bit seems like a decent option.

I did. They had the 2.0 or 2.5 coils. I went with 2.5. I do remember that I measured with the back completely unloaded, but when I off-road or go camping, obviously I have more weight back there.

The 2.5's unloaded are gunna sit about an inch higher than the 2.0's so to compensate, like they said above, throw a 1" spacer up front. Should do the trick!

I have that lift, had the same issue you are having. I had my mechanic raise the front just one notch on the Bilstiens and now it is perfect.

Yea. It's not really an issue at all. Just a personal preference that I would like to be changed. So the mechanic just took them apart, moved the notch, compressed the spring, and then put it back together?
