ToyTec BOSS adjustment ring seized

Looking for advice, guys. I had gotten the ToyTec BOSS lift installed years ago here in CA where it's really dry. I recently installed a heavy front bumper and winch and was hoping to have the front suspension pre-load adjusted more firmly to accommodate the new bumper sag.

Problem: my mechanic guys were not able to break one of the adjustment rings loose. It is seized up big time. They have tried everything (penetrating oil, heat, etc) and told me they're afraid of putting any more pressure on the ring for fear of breaking something under extreme pressure.

I'm currently treading water, trying to figure out how to solve this issue. Does anyone have experience or pro tricks to unstick those #%$ adjustment rings? Or, if you have a pro you'd recommend in SoCal, do drop a line.

Probably have to destroy the ring to remove it. Cut it with saw or cut-off wheel almost through then wack with a chisel. Clean the shock body threads well, lightly lube and put on a new ring.

I am a little North of you. When I added a winch bumper and skid plate my front end dropped over an inch. I have Toytech Boss 2.5 on the front.

With the frame lifted and the tires stretched out as far as they would go I could not move either nut with the spanner wrench. I added a 3 foot cheater bar and they moved easily enough.

I hope they knew to loosen the lock nuts.
