Toytech 3inch lift

Hi, I have a 2000 sr5 and wanted to lift it. After looking around for a little I decided on the toytech 3in lift that comes with both front and back springs and a diff drop . On the web site it says "This is a great kit if you have shocks that are in good condition and are just looking to replace your tired coils and still get a 3 inch lift." so thinking I didn't need new shocks I ordered it. :withstupid: when it got here we realized the front was either not gonna fit or be very hard to get in, and even if we did would the shock be able to stretch that much. After looking it up we saw that we might be able to fit the stock front shocks but not the back. My question is what shocks should i get for the rear and is it worth running the stock front shocks if I can. *high schooler on kinda tight budget.*does offroading occasionally.

Just replace the front shocks as well otherwise youll be kicking yourself a year from now when they wear out. Costs more up front but is worth it in the long run. I would recommend the bilstein 5100s in the front. I was in a similar situation as you when I did my lift, highschooler on a tight budget, and for "budget" rear shocks I would recommend the rancho rs5000 for the back of a 4th gen. They ride great for the price, have a lifetime warranty, and I think mine were under 100$. They also have the right length to get the most flex out of the rear with your coils.

Black798 Awesome thanks for the advice ill look into both of those. If they are anything like what you and other people have said I'm sure ill be more than happy. I'm really not that picky when it comes to this stuff as long as it doesn't break after a few months.
