Traction Control

Does anyone know if traction control is standard on the 2007 Sport? I ask because I have two, and with my Shadow Mica any wheel slip will cause the traction control system to engage (the light with the slippery truck icon lights up), the car beeps, and I can hear a few other clicking going on. On my Natural White though, I purposely spun the wheels in some water earlier and nothing happened. It basically just gassed and kept breaking/getting traction. No lights or clicking, it didn't even try and reduce power, etc.

Supposed to be standard. Have not tried to provoke it on mine, not so many opportuinties.

If I hit the center diff lock, the VSC OFF dash light does come on FWIW.

Guess I need to find some dirt or gravel and try a known maneuver that should trigger the thing. only done straight line 1st gear punches to check out the increased traction from the 4WD.

Thanks for the info robtmc. I just find it odd that on one it will engage traction control on the slightest slip. Then nothing on the other.

I was also thinking, if I had a bad fuse or relay wouldn't that light the instrument cluster light?

BTW, these are both 2WD.
