And that sucks. I'm guessing Dirty30s get discontinued and Longfield axles and birfs get more expensive. And shittier.
 
Sucks to see such an awesome American brand swallowed up like that. I've got a set of Longfield 300m joints in my Early Bronco. Incredible product.

Better than closing their doors. As long as TG hold up with the warranty stuff, I think well all be alright. Hopefully it will be Longfirld making the parts and TG distributing them. The birfs all come from the same company anyway.
 
Scotty/Addicted was saying on another board that they both come from RCV. Considering the direction TrailGear has been going and the lack of competition they'll have, I'm just not sure that I trust TrailGear to continue paying RCV to keep the standards up. I think quality will suffer and the price will go up until/unless another player enters the market.
 
I read on the local forum that when we did the memorial benefit for Bobby that Trail Gear was the only major vender that didn't donate or even acknowledge the benefit. Apparently they didn't even answer phone call, email, or anything.

I'm wasn't really a fan of TG before this.

Yup, Dirty 30s and Longfields are made by the same company. If Trail-Gear does drop their qualities they can be sure to loose a lot of customer base in the PNW. Well, what's left of their customer base in the PNW anyway.
 
This really sucked for me cuz I'm 5min from Bobby's/Tina's place. It was nice to just drive down the street and pick up whatever I needed from them.
