Hi Guys,

Installed the new transfer case with 1 pair of ramps in a dirt parking lot and some hand tools( no freaking fun )

Either way - 2 issues now

1) at 70(exactly) floor vibrates
2) when you first take off it squeaks.

I had the rear ujoint replaced with a Moog HD-the front were checked and are fine.

Guessing it is the drive-shaft balance but i'm hoping to hear some answers from more experienced guys here(pretty much anyone).

Thanks,

Check the T Case mount and make sure the bolts didnt strip out and that it is still being supported. Is the case leaking from any point that you can tell?

Also what is this case out of? It could have vibrated at 70mph in the last truck and could just be the T case you swapped...

Year shouldnt matter as im running a 96 case in my 02 without issue (Other than spedo)

plan on checking it tomorrow, im thinking t case mount 2 also by some chance.

really thinking driveshaft balance scared of it.

going to tighten everything up tomorrow again

you took the DS off, but did you take the slip yoke out of the rear of the drive shaft?

If you did, that's your problem. It's not in phase.

Other than that, check mounts and bolts. Make sure they are torqued to spec, and that nothing is loose.
