Transmission valve body installation- extra washer!!!!

Can anyone please help me with this washer that was in my catch pan under transmission fluid (didnt notice it until I bolted the trans valve body back up.)

I have no idea where it goes.

can't tell from the pic but is that washer covered in rust? if so i'd ask if ur sure it came out of the trans and isn't from somewhere else? should have rusted washers and bolts coming out of the trans

figured it out. it was a cork gasket on the trans oil filter.
