I haven't seen many posts here in the last several years from folks installing a TRD-branded cold air intake in their 4th Gen. With Christmas coming up, I'm interested in something slightly superfluous that I wouldn't buy for myself, so the idea of CAI has occurred to me.

Does anyone reading here have experience with the current TRD CAI (PTR03-35090)? Toyota OEM parts sites - which I'm most inclined to believe - say it will fit a 2008 4.0L V6, but I've seen other listings on Amazon and eBay that say it does not.

if you look for the afe brand, its the same thing. injen is another brand, it just a replacement tube and filter, but still be able to pass smog. here in california the smog thing is big. for us we usually put it back to stock every other year to do smog check.
