TRD Intake not available anymore?

On Monday I had my dealer price out the TRD intake (They did as the entire package, not as individual parts) and apparently the parts department came back and said it had a 'Stop Sale' listed on it, so it was no longer available to order. Anyone else run into this?

I am having them try to order as individual parts to see if that makes any difference now.. (Which was what I asked for originally)

Quick update.. you can order as separate parts, just not the whole unit. Very odd.

One more issue, PTR03-34071 (Air flow sensor gauge) is not available separately in Canada... can I just plug the hole where this goes?

If you are talking about the clear plastic filter service gauge, you can simply plug it or look for a WIX unit, I think the closest one is a wix 24801.

Has me wondering if a 2021 4runner will be all-new. Lotta random things changing or being discontinued or launching. TRD Pro exhaust. Cutting the intake. A move to add a new option package for the Venture edition to help get excess TRD Pro wheels out the door, etc.

That's what I would do, not really sure how useful these gauges can be but I prefer visual check. I only have it because that was on my list of parts to order, in hind sight, a rubber plg would have suffice.

You can run the stock filter but if you want the TRD oiled filter: PTR43-00083

Only other items needed are:
1:Hose, 5/32” ID X 20”
1:Convoluted Split Loom , 15”
3:Black Zip Ties, 6”
1lug, Plastic Tree Clips

All available at any auto parts store

Another reason these kind of parts disappear is they require CARB and EPA exemption orders and those are issued by each model year. I think the fee is around $80K per year. If sales of the part don't justify production they drop it.

Calgary, ordered from Stampede Toyota. Just give them the part number list and dont explain it. They may think they know better and try to order as a whole which will cost you a whole lot more money..It is just under $300Cdn with no discount.
