TRD OFF ROAD decals question

So I've decided to put some TRD vinyls on my runner, figured it makes sense as I have the E locker. Where did you guys buy yours and what are the factory decal sizes, and what color scheme decals did Toyota put on their silver trucks?

I'm assuming your a 2000 or up, so look up "2000 Toyota Tacoma TRD" in Google images and see what was used.

They are typically the black and red and I'm not sure of the size. Most places will have them to scale.

I got mine off eBay and I have been really pleased so far, they have a high quality feel to them and I think they were about 15 bucks shipped. I did black on black with my silver beast, tried to keep it kind of low key.

Consider the E-locker is such an off road exclusive item, i'd say just having it would warrant some TRD decals.

I put my TRD decals on after I bought my exclusive billet TRD oil cap. I'm waiting to install my TRD valve stem caps until I do my SAS, I don't want to piss anyone off. ound:

So...then you get that I'm saying since there was never a "TRD" model 4Runner, just throwing decals on them could be kind of lame? Let's just start badging mall crawlers with 4WD badges too right?

I was just being a smart ass. I remember thinking the same thing before i did my lift but decided to wait until after the lift to put them on. I just didnt want somebody asking "what makes it a TRD model?" If i had nothing done to it.

Sad to say but i really do have the TRD oil cap! Haha.

I say do what you want though, its just a sticker. I slapped a 4.7L HEMI badge on my dad's honda odyssey last year just for fun. If people are going to un friend you or scoff at you for a sticker they arent worth your time to begin with.

It can't be any worse than GM's old overpriced Z-71 "off road" package. Skid plates, Bilsteins and a decal. Worse than that was the ZR2 Tracker.:wtf:
Besides, I have a vinyl cutter and can make whatever I want. That TRD logo is cool!
