TRD oil filler cap

is there an actual benefit from using this cap or is it just for looks? a novelty? I can't find anything, anywhere online showing where I'd benefit from a $50 oil cap.

What benefit could you possibly get by replacing a plastic cap with an aluminum cap?

It gives you the same benefit as black emblem over lays, or a trd pro grill....you do it because YOU like it.

I have the US TRD oil cap in my truck.

I also have the Japanese TRD oil cap, and a special edition old school gold TRD oil cap.

You can install a TRD coolant cap that nobody can ever see too.

i bought one when it was on sale. It's purely an aesthetic thing.

Keep in mind, they make a JDM and a US version. Difference is style.

not nearly as much as HID low beam's, but close.

I don't have any data to back up this claim, but purely from a seat of my pants assessment, I'd say the TRD Oil Cap, along with a fresh dose of "Racing Air" in my tires, gave me an easy 5HP increase.
