not light offroading but not "hanging off a 90 degree cliff" offroading. the thing is that it was said this 4runner is ready for everything offroad but i am seriously doubting that. i want to know what needs to be adjusted/ changed before i put it in the rocks.

You can definitely run it as is. See how it goes for a while and then if you feel you need to change something, do it. It's a capable truck. You'll be surprised at what these trucks in stock form can do. Get some better tires.
good idea. i was thinking of getting some pro comp m/t2's. the bfg's on it now look worse than the ones i have on my 99

I didn't realize the 4runner TRD Pro came with different tires. mine has the Nitto Terra Grappler tire (and yours has BFG). Since there are so few PROs I thought they would maintain a consistent configuration. I wonder if anything else changes from car to car.
I noticed that the early reviews showed TRD PROs with a moon roof and KDSS but I assumed that those where early prototypes and they locked down the configuration once they made a production decision. (not much variability from the standard config --only options I knew of where running boards and a cargo deck)

just bought the '15 TRD pro 4runner. anything i should to it as of mods and custom parts.arty::surfer:
P.S.- i didnt get the ugly orange. went with plain white.

- Slider
- Skids
- Roof rack
- Winch mount or bumper
- Recovery straps, hitch shackle
- Traction boards (Maxtrax, TRED4x4)

As it stand, it can't recover much, come on.....
Well after all your damn group buys our 4Runners should be able to time travel, unless you're talking about Jeeps not being able to recover anything which even though I hate to admit that they'll out perform a 4Runner any day, I'll just say I agree because I'd rather masturbate with a cheese grater than ever drive in a Jeep again.
I really want a winch mount. Them things is cooler than hell. Got a winch but without a huge bumper. I like it.
I got 3 jeeps and I can literally get stuck or messed up anywhere my a atv , 4Runner ,or f250 can get through easier than a knife through butter. In my defenses I got my jeeps for free.:vader:
