Has anyone come up with a bracket system to mount a 30" light bar in the top space above the TOYOTA on a TRD Pro grill?

biggest you can possibly fit is a 22 inch light bar, and that's pushing it.
There isn't anyone making brackets, but there is a support/ledge where you can drill and mount your light bar, although its a bit too flimsy for my liking. There is a few people who have written up DIY instructions on how to install a light bar in the upper grill.
Honestly, if I had to do it over again, I wouldn't try to fit a 22 inch light bar, I would probably go with 20 inches and a single row, mainly because there isn't a lot of space in the upper grill area between the grill itself and the radiator, and you won't be able to reinstall your upper engine splash guard, if that's not a big deal to you.
A 30 inch light bar will not fit between the headlights in the upper grill area.

Thanks man. You just saved me a ton of work. I was just about to buy the radiance 30". I read MTN4RNR post on how to install the lights but I thought I could squeeze in a 30". The 20" is even cheaper. Guess Ill remeasure in the morning.

On another note I spoke with Rigid about their radiance light bars and was informed that doing a river crossing or even going though the car wash could cause problems with moisture. Has anyone experienced anything negative?

I did the same set up as [MENTION=129593]MTN4RNR[/MENTION] and love it. My only "issue" with the setup is that the grill does block some of the light. Not a big deal. I do have the old grille from before the TRD grille which I could mod to have an opening. Theres a before and after picture somewhere here on the forums of what the output looks like with the grille on and off and its quote noticeable. While it is a small issue, the functionality and low profile of the setup outweighs the "issue" I have.
I do have some Rigid lights but not on my 4Runner and while the lights are not bad but for them to say their lights may have issues with moisture going through a river crossing let alone the car wash should make you rethink buying from them. If you can save for a BajaDesign light, I would go that route. I made the mistake of picking up a amazon cheapo light which was a 30" light bar and claimed to have 15000 lumens output but after driving through blowing snow in the mountain, I quickly found out the light was not sufficient enough for that type of driving condition and their claim of putting out 15000 lumen was grossly off. The 20" S8 from Baja puts out 8000 lumens and was much brighter than the 30" I bought on amazon. As they say, you get what you pay for. Since buying the S8, I run exclusively BajaDesign lights on my 4runner now.
With that said, I'm not knocking on Rigid by any means because I've seen them on plenty of rigs who go through harsh winters or gets exposed to moisture and they seem to do fine. I have their ignite pod lights powered via battery packs that I use for night fishing and mounted to my bike for night riding and they work great. Seems silly for them to tell you that but that may just apply to the radiance lineup.

I think that's odd that someone from Rigid would say that the radiance bars might have those problems with moisture getting in. They are supposed to have a 68 ip rating which means you should be able to submerge them under one meter of water and not leak from what I've read. I would think that they would have more confidence in their product than that. Baja does have a 69 ip rating on their light bars though if I remember correctly which is the top rating but you're going to pay for it with them. If you're concerned about moisture getting in, check out Black Oak led. They have a 69 ip rating too at about 1/3 the price of Baja. I bought one of their 30" bars with 5 watt led's for behind my grill and have been happy with it so far. I've hit it multiple times with a pressure washer through the grill and haven't had any moisture sneak in.
Here is my install. Went with 22” spot/flood. I didn’t want to spend close to $200 on the upper plastic piece so I cut my upper non-TRD stock grill and mounted the light bar. Made the mounts by cutting and bending some aluminum bar stock and painted it satin black. Used the original holes from the stock metal ledge. Used some bolts, washers, and nylon locking nuts and it is solid. Had to cut the aluminum fins to fit the hood release latch. Also added marine silicone to the light bar for extra waterproofing. Stock splash guard/big plastic cover still fits on top.
