TRD PRO Grille "TOYOTA" Color?

Anyone know of a good color match (off the shelf or otherwise) for the gunmetal grey color used on the TOYOTA on the TRD PRO grille?

Not a horrible idea. I was hoping for paint as I don't have plans to "undo" it, ever. But a good Plan B.

I might just have to enlist so good 'ol trial and error here. :fro:

1H5 is Cement. Cement seems much "flatter" - just look how much different it is on the vehicle.

I would almost think 1F7 would be closer. The emblem seems to have a bit more sheen (if that's the right word). Good site though.

Maybe I should ask Silver owners with TRD PRO Grilles... how close is the TOYOTA to your paint color?

Certain pics it looks pretty close... others, not so much.

Yeah I plan to get the matte gray TRD Pro wheels as well to match. I'm tired of the all black look (though I'm considering it still as it looks badass). Seems like everyone and their mom's go that route. Not that I have anything against it but if I modify my rig I'd like to stand out just a bit from the rest.

That's a great idea. I was debating on the blacking out the rear, but I thought it looked funny.

I used the gunmetal grey plasti dip, with 2 coats of 'metalizer' plasti dip over the top. Not exact, but matches metallic grey factory paint very close.

I bought the plastic dip and metalizer... but it's been too cold here to give it a go.

I will report back... perhaps in spring.

Plastidip gunmetal is way more darker than the OEM toyota letter on pro grille.
