Determined by market but if you don't buy it someone else will and they know that. If you know you want to keep it then sure. It's a little over priced but unfortunately good luck on negotiating much. You may get to $41,500 if you push. You need to use wording like "if you could do X amount I am prepared to buy right now. If not then I will need to think on it"
But don't be scared to walk or to purchase.

Agree with what the others have said. It's a game, so just go in low knowing that will never happen. Don't say yes to the first lowered price, push as much as you can. Good luck!

Got mine in Oregon

I live in NorCal and ordered mine in Bend, OR and drove up there to get it because of the mark-ups in CA. I was able to get it at MSRP plus tax, etc. I still had to pay CA taxes on it. It was a mild hassle getting it registered in CA and the DMV made me smog the truck before they'd register it. Even though I had to deal with the chimps at the DMV, it was still worth it to me.

Prepare to pay right around sticker. I got some accessories thrown in, but they didn't budge on the sticker price. Just did some quick checking locally, and it looks like the used ones are going for more than the new...Naperville Toyota has 2 used 4runner TRD Pros. '16 Quicksand with 22k for $47K and a '15 White with 39k for $45k, certified...at these prices, might as well buy new.

CPO is better than new in the case of warranty.

I paid sticker for mine. Found one in quicksand in Shreveport, LA. Looked as far east as Georgia and this was the only one I could locate. MSRP + $1,500 to ship it to Los Angeles.

A local dealer told me he could get a white one, but there would be a $10k markup.

Trd pro

I'm looking for a one in quicksand. Unfortunately the dealer that I had mine on order with just told me that they aren't getting it. Not seeing that big of a difference in price from the Trail and TRD PRO. What sold me on the TRD PRO was the Quicksand color also the tires and skid plates. I'm thinking about just getting a Trail if I get a good deal. Any ideas or suggestions?

I'm impressed at how well 4Runners, TRD models in particular hold their value ridiculously well. I can't wait to get mine.

It appears that TRD Pro 4Runners sell for full MSRP, rarely discounted.

+1

In my limited experience, I found TRD Pro's sell for MSRP or above.
