TRD Pro Rims National Back Order

Hey All,

I just spoke to 10 dealerships yesterday and they all confirmed that the rims are currently on back order.. some are saying that they stop production..

Can anyone confirm asides me?

Pretty bummed.. I want a set for the runner..

Yes it's true. In fact, you know can only order them if you have a VIN number from a TRD Pro.

I deleted my stupid question, yes lighter. On the wider comment, I plan to stay with the stock 265/70 17 on my soon to be Gen5 and what I am running on my Gen4 that will soon be sold. The wider wheel will still fit the 265 but could expose the wheel more to curbs and rocks. Thoughts on this?

That's because everyone and their mother runs the TRD wheels on their trucks.

The FN's are 1" wider than the TRD Pro wheels if that is what you were referring to Stifler.......I mean "Simpleman"

thought BRs were 7.5 and FN were 8? either way Stif er Simpleman doesn't rock the 2017 version of Rockstars

TRDP wheels=7" wide but they have a better offset than SR5 wheels
SR5 wheels= 7" wide but further inboard offset
Trail wheels= 7.5" wide with inboard offset
FN wheels= 8" wide and perfect offset
Limited wheels= who cares

That's right. Got the Trail and SR5 wheels confused. Just trying to show that everything you read in a forum is 100% correct, lol

My SR5 came with TRD wheels. I haven't noticed any rubbing as of yet, but where should I be looking just in case?

Not all will, but if it does it is usually on the front fender liner. This is why TRD pro's are trimmed at port.
