TRD Pro rims question

I hate to make a thread for this but I need the reinsurance. I'm about to buy these

I just have a few questions

1. Has anyone ever ordered from this guy? Or have you ordered these elsewhere and know a better place?

2. Do our factory valve stems fit these? I've read that most people say they "should" but does anyone know for sure?

Any of these questions answered would help! Thanks in advance guys!

1. Yes, they are pretty good and also they are local to me.

2. they should work if you have stock alloy tpms sensors. but you wouldn't know until you have them pulled out of the stock wheel, due to many factors the original sensor might of been swapped out due to battery or breakage

The link you posted is another thing I have a questions about. There's atleast 10-15 sites EXACTLY like that one, why are they all the same?? It's kind of weird to me

they are online dealers, basically a toyota dealer reselling online. just find the lowest price with shipping to your door.

Check out the FN fx pro wheel. Matching style but 17x8 instead of the OEM 17x7.

I bought those exact same wheels from him about 3 months ago. Wheels are OEM and arrived fast. They fit my 07’ SR5 perfectly. Valve stems will fit. Would by from them again.

I think mine were around $780 shipped and it included OEM Toyota center caps. That was a while ago though.

Just ordered a set of the oem TRD Pros in black from toyotaparts4u on ebay. $765 shipped. I think it was a decent price. I have never spent that kind of money on rims or anything else for my cars (except tires). I must like my T4R.

Just to confirm will the OEM TRD 17x7 wheels fit without clearance issues on the 4th gens (Stock suspension)? I know the FN wheels 17x8 have some rubbing concerns.

Yes they'll fit fine, but squeezing the tire in ever so slightly (1") caused my existing 20,000 mile Cooper AT3's to get noticeably louder while driving after swapping them on to the new oem wheels. I'm hoping they wear in.

I have the same noise issue, although I went with the wider FN Fx Pro. My Cooper AT3s have become super loud after moving up to the 17x8. With 8,500 miles since the wheel swap, it's only getting worse.

TRD PRO rim as a spare

Hello, new to this forum, any forum for that matter and I'm not sure where to start.

Just purchased a 5th TRD PRO matte black rim for my '14 Limited only to realize that if I actually install it under the vehicle, the hook that goes through the middle of the rim might scratch up the TRD PRO rim. I haven't done it yet but my fear is once that paint is compromised, it won't look pretty.

Has anyone come across this issue? Or are there any products or soft spacers or something you can get?

Am I making sense?
