TRD Pro wheel question.

Hello, I'm new to the forum, but I've been reading about some of the builds on here for a while. I'm in the process of buying a 2015 Trail Premium, since a TRD Pro is impossible to find. My main question is regarding the fitment of TRD Pro wheels on the Trail model. What size tire is recommended for that setup without having any rubbing? I'm not planning on doing anything to the suspension and I was thinking of getting Cooper St Maxx tires. Thank you for any suggestions.

There is a google search bar at the top of the forum that will get you all the info you need :). I am making an assumption you didn't see it as you stated you were new.

P.S. putting "5th gen" in your search term can help get more relevant results (example "5th gen TRD Pro Wheels" or "tire fitment guide"
 
265/70/17 is recommended size. It is a 17x7 rim, same offset as stock. See my posts for pics with them on a non Pro. I added spidertrax spacers to help improve the wheel tuck due to offset on an oem wheel.
 
Sorry for the redundant question and thank you for responding. My eyes are about to bleed from all of the research. I was hoping I'd get some responses from members that have the particular setup I was asking about. I'm new to SUV's and SUV related mods, so I'm learning.

We're currently flooded by noobs with TRD Pro fever, so you're likely to get some snippy responses to your nooby questions :). Don't take it personal, and thanks for taking the time to try to search first. The link in philsey's post is the best way to find info on this board, the native search function is garbage at best.
 
After doing some reading I'm thinking the 265 size tires should work for me. Now I need to decide which tire brand to go with. I'm not planning on doing any extreme off-roading , just looking for something that won't be too loud but still aggressive looking. Any Midwest members on here have any suggestions? I looked at Nitto Terra Grapplers and Cooper St Maxx. I'm thinking the coopers might not be the right tire for me.
 
Both are fine , apples & oranges ! I have at3s on my 4th gen been fine . When I got my 11 guy had some rockstars20s & some nitto desert somethings looked like flame treads . GONE N 60 my guy could only get me bridgestones on a Sat revo duelers & they have been fine so ........... get the ones that YOU like & get em balanced right be fine ! Probably gonna get some s/t maxxs when these wear out just my personal preference !

Just got back from the dealer. I got quoted $280 per wheel for the TRD wheels. Thought it was a little too steep. The parts manager said he'll sell them at $215. Anyone else get a better deal than that?

When I bought mine, I only paid $175.00 ea. at my local Toyota Dealership Parts counter, and that was when they could hardly be had without a bunch of loops to jump thru!
Dealer R & R the wheels/tires and balanced for an extra $20.00 per wheel.

I feel I did ok!
 
Thank you for the link and prices. I thought I've seen people on here who bought them for around that price. I guess I'm going to hold off on the purchase unless they give me this price. It amazes me how salesmen have no idea about their own products. I left the dealership frustrated. I'm almost debating on going to a different dealership to purchase the truck. The guy almost had me put down a deposit on the wrong truck.

Looking for the Matte Black TRD's that you are talking about. Which dealership did you order from? Been looking to secure a pair for a while now!
