TRD Pro Wheels on Stock Tires

Has anyone run the TRD Pro wheels on their newly purchased 5th Gen...i.e. on the Dunflops? How does that look? Any photos of them prior to getting real tires....

Didn't have the money for a lift at the time and got the dealer to toss in the Pro wheels of free. Thats all going to change shortly just go to finish deciding which kit to order and shes going up and getting some new shoes.

Take the wheel money and put it towards better tires. It will have a big effect on how aggressive the Runner looks and give you a performance upgrade to boot. Then transfer those tires to the new wheels when the funds become available. Sorry that this is not what you were asking for, but a tire upgrade is highly functional, while wheels is purely cosmetic - and made less awesome by putting those dunflops back on.

Just had the rims installed today on stock tires. Haven't decided on the suspension setup yet...for now, gym-less chicken legs.

Thanks for the feedback all... agree with the analogy too... got my new rig on Thursday... 949 looks like he had a similar plan.

I think I'm gonna go with the TE/TRD 6 spoke versions...and get them with new take-offs... looks like you can get that for $1100-1200 all in

I just bought the 4Runner and would love to do all my mods right away but of course there is one small constrain... $$$ so I have to go step by step. There are a lot of 4Runners on the road so I thought updating the wheels first would make it look not so stock and I love the wheels!

10k on the tires so far. I actually like them more than I thought I would. I'll probably run them at least 2 more years. I don't do major offloading though, just gravel and dirt roads.

Got mine for free too. They had them installed already at the dealer. Asked them to put the stock wheels back on and they couldn't find them. TRD wheels gratis...

Selling stock SR5 Wheels

Has anyone upgraded their SR5 wheels and had any luck selling the stock ones? I just put the TRD Pro wheels on my rig and not sure what to do with the old ones. I'd like to get something for them but am curious if anyone had any luck selling them and if so, for how much roughly?
