TRD Tacoma wheels on a 5th Gen?

I saw a TRD Tacoma in my hometown today with a small lift and oversized tires on the new TRD wheels. I know taco wheels are 16" but anyone run these on their 4R? I'm running a 3" lift currently with 285's on my factory ORP wheels, but I'm loving these new wheels. Any pitfalls I need to be aware of before shopping for a set other than I'll need new tires too? I'm thinking of going to 305/70/16

I'd imagine the calipers and rotors would be too big for them to fit without modding them some. I could be wrong though so I'd be interested to see what someone more knowledgeable would say.

I never tried it but read in many areas of the forum that 16s would not fit
