I'd lose the ladder. Otherwise, it looks good. But really, that ladder?

To each their own I guess. Sounds like you would have no use for a ladder, but I actually do, which is why it is there! it's not bolted on for looks. There are many here that use the GOBI ladder as well and speak highly of it. I personally am very happy with their product and use it to great effect.

The ladder is for utility not just looks, every single time I use mine I'm so thankful to have it. Personally I think it looks great on the truck as well.

After seeing these TRD Pro's you guys have Im starting to like that front end on the newer models. Great looking truck!

Thanks Jhalko... my sentiments exactly! For those that need to get up there from time to time, the ladder is indispensable! Appreciate your input...:cheers:

Much appreciated guys! I happen to like it too and the quality is awesome, fits perfectly and best of all.... FUNCTIONS as its supposed to! Really helps when getting up there. Can't imagine trying to get up there w/o it. Possible, yes, ... but not easy. Works for me and obviously many others here. All the best..

I'm not that old to remember the vans you are referring to, but I do think it gives a utilitarian safari overland look that is cool and functional. Really goes well with the Gobi rack.

Of course like you, I also stand on the rear tires or even the Nfabs when reaching something quickly. That's a no brainer. I certainly don't need a ladder to pull something off as you mentioned. I'm talking about getting up there to walk around and actually do stuff up there. I have this rack & ladder combo for a professional reason which calls for it.

But now that you mention it, I'm warming up to the brown '70s van thing. Might be the next mod... but the circle window is gonna be tricky!

LOL The portholes on the side of my FJ aren't much bigger than those little bubble windows. You could add some viewing or targeting ports on the side of the T4R but you HAVE to put a Shaggin' Waggon sticker on it! :bluejump:

Not sure how much you weigh, but I'm right around 180 lbs and there's no way I'd even think about walking around on the roof. Not even with the weight distributed by the rack.

Do it all the time. No problem. Just have to be careful and know where to step.
