Nice looking rig, I just got a white one and like u I am going with a Gobi rack. My Tepui doesn't look right in the garage. Lol great vehicles and the craftsmanship is top shelf. Once I hit my post milestone I'll throw a pic up.

Hey thanks man! The Gobi rack is pretty sweet. Best thing I did to this truck. It'll probably outlast the truck and that ain't easy to do with a Toyota.

Appreciate it brother. It's been a great ride to me. My favorite vehicle I've ever had. Surprised Toyota only did the Black in '15. But hey, I'm glad I nabbed it when I did.

Checking in....

Been awhile since my last post. Since then, I had my dealer replace the old "TRD Clunk" parts over to the new ones. Wow! Didn't even know how much better it could be as I was used to the old ones. Much better ride! However, they didn't replace my full Toytec 2" up front... only the top spacer. So going to have to put back in the spring seats sometime soon. Can't take the rake as is...

Thanks man! Yes it's just the Toytec 2". Mostly happy with it. Decent solution for the TRDP.

Appreciate it! I know Black is love or hate for most. Takes a lot of work but man... nothing like a clean Attitude Black metallic. Worth the extra work for me!

Have a whole laundry list of things.

I need to get it leveled first. The rake is just annoying to look at. Want to also change the front grill to the pro one. Then need some sliders. From there we shall see.

I love how this black has blue metallic flakes. How could you not want to show that off.

Post the pics! Haven't really solved the clunk issue. For me, It seems really minor in the cold. Waiting to see from others.... Jury still out. Thanks!

I need to get it leveled first. The rake is just annoying to look at. Want to also change the front grill to the pro one. Then need some sliders. From there we shall see.

I love how this black has blue metallic flakes. How could you not want to show that off.

I do love the slight blue flakes in the black paint. Looks stellar in the sun when really clean.

Clunk issue? I have a clunk issue on my 4Runner TRD Pro. Under rear left seat. Feels like metal hitting the suspension.

Hmmm. That's an interesting one. Usually it's an issue up front. Simple things first... It's not your jack, or anything in the little compartment banging around loosely in the rearmost driver side compartment in the back cargo area is it? I've stuffed all kinds of tools, tie downs, etc in mine and sometimes when wheeling... the tie downs will hit against the inside of the body a little... just a thought.

Also really dying to see one of these black TRD rigs with 285s as I'm looking to maybe replace my 275s with them soon. Hate to go even heavier than these heavy E's but they've been solid and good to me.

I appreciate it. Window visors are cool, no regrets what so ever. On days its raining I can open the window a tad bit and let fresh air come in. I will keep you posted on the 285s. :cheers:
