also an update tokico is not warranting the rear shocks. I spoke to a man named Ray and he said if theres any scratches on the shaft there is no warranty. And there are scratches on the shaft but that is from removing them again. when we try to loosen the top nut the shaft will turn so we used a vise grip to hold the shaft

To the MODS: when i log in it will say "thank you for 4runna08 for logging in" then it will show up as not logged in. I have this problem for awhile now, it is only by luck some how i logged in today. Thank you

Sorry to hear that, what a load of BS. Was it the same shop to do the install? I think there is an installer error if 2 sets go bad. Maybe the top nut was not fully tightened down? IDK, the odds of getting 2 faulty sets has got to be near impossible.(assuming a legitimate retailer sold them).

Oh, you're log in problem may be that cookies are not enbaled. Go to your User CP and ensure they are enabled.
Edit: NM, I guess you don't have that option to enable with the new version.

i thought these were good shocks to use. im looking at them for my setup on my 97. are there dif kinds of these shocks or are they pretty much the same between the years and does it matter between 2wd or 4wd

yea it one our friends who did the job at my house so its going to weird to say "hey you fu$ked up my shocks and pay for them". Here is where the bs is..Onthe o.e tokicos we cut the shifter boot on one of them and used the clamp right above the seal and there are tiny scratches from the vise grip and they have not busted. I can upload a pic

i experienced the same issue, just days ago (link below to my yotatech thread). Same trekmaster part number, GE3536 rear.
