Ordered from SRQ. Got the rear plate bumper and the full length swing out during black friday sale time. The bumper arrived after the normal lead time, swingout took another 3 weeks. Was no told it would arrive separately so I was a little surprised. Customer service answered my questions and once the parts got here I got to work.
I was able to get the whole rear plate bumper fabd up today. It fits perfect. My only complaint is the gap from the rear or the vehicle around the hatch latch. It's no big deal, but I seems that making the bumper fill that space would be such an easy change in design that it almost seems lazy (unless I'm missing something). All parts are laser cut and they fit together great.
No issues from srq regarding missing pieces so far. Il finish the welding and swingout tomorrow then I'm sending the bumper off to get powdercoated.
The bumper looks great, and the fitment was great on my 4runner. Love the added clearance and the higher receiver!! No tow rating legally, but as long as you use continuous welds and are a capable welder using the correct settings I don't see an issue with utilizing the same oem limits as a guideline. This is an opinion and not advice. The bumper mounting structure is more reinforced than the OEM receiver anyways.

Finished up. Good kit.
Was missing 4 nuts that attach the locking mechanism to the bumper, and they mismatched the hardware for for spare tire mount so I now have 1 correct thread pitch stud and 2 incorrect thread pitch studs for the lug nuts. It's already welded and painted and I didn't check the lugs until today because I figured it would all be correct..little frustrating.
Il probably just get correct nuts to match the "Wrong" thread and deal with it. Won't be taking it off often anyways.

I haven't gotten a ton of things but the few things I have gotten the process was smooth. They usually say up front if its going to be a long wait so I go into it, knowing that. I had one part fail and without a hitch they sent another one out immediately, no questions asked.

Just curious, do you have any issues with the rear swing out rattling? Mine seems to rattle over bumps from the hinge. It gets better when tighten the hinge bolt, but always comes back after I’ve opened it a few times.

Not here to badmouth SRQ/TNF at all, but they have certainly been having difficulty keeping up with orders and adhering to lead times since Black Friday. Also, TNF has had staff shortages/illness issues adding to welding delays. They are 'working on new capabilities to make waits shorter going forward'. Just passing along what they've told me and stuff I heard from a couple of friends. Still a customer.

Long lead times are the new trend in the aftermarket industry. Gone are the days of placing an order and it showing up two days later.
Most companies like SRQ have no control over lead times since the parts are being drop shipped from the manufacturer.
I placed a large order on Black Friday and waited 4-5 months before I started receiving parts of my order.
That being said, SRQ answered all my inquiries within a day of me reaching out and helped with any questions I had. Even after the sale, they answered my emails and have made an attempt to help me with my rattle.

True - I've been seeing that as well. In the case of SRQ/TNF I believe they are either co-located or have some other extra-tight relationship in the same town/county. There is 'in-stock' gear out there if you shop carefully. Luckily, I don't have a big purchases on the horizon - just odds and ends.
