Trusted mechanic NoVA/DC?

Anyone have recommendations? I saw an old thread, but times change. I'd like to have someone give it a really good once over and let me know if I have any issues that are pressing. Want someone trustworthy who does quality work. Too much to ask? ha

I've been to G&C Auto in Chantilly a few times. They've done good work, but they really really really push useless service packages and one time when I was getting new tires put on I came home to find that my owner's manual and wheel lock was missing. I understand the wheel lock, honest mistake, but why even take out my owners booklet which had my insurance card, registration, etc. in it? Who knows...they brought it back to me as soon as I called but I still feel like every time I go there is a little thing that irks me.

It's the pushing of useless services that I want to avoid. It's very hard for me to determine if what they're telling me I need is what I do indeed need. I've been reading reviews of mechanics in this area, and lord have mercy, there seem to be none!

Let's hope someone shares their honest, awesome, and trustworthy mechanic with us!
