How closely does this resemble the OEM finish?
OEM finish looks to have a little more gloss (but still matte) whereas this is more matte.

On that note. For everyone's knowledge these will not survive removal. The OEM one will.

These are definitely more of a true matte finish.

Fitment is PERFECT! And when I say perfect I mean it.
Now mind you, I have never seen the OEM in person but from pictures I have seen the TSO fits like the OEM should have.
I also can’t comment on the finish compared to the OEM. But the TSO finish matches my matte black mirrors perfectly!! With all that said this is an Amazing product, a great option for those of us who don’t feel like spending a ridiculous amount of money for an OEM piece of plastic. And in my opinion it is much better looking (again compared to pictures) and it’s exactly what I was looking for, a simple all black no letters cover.
Getting closer to the Stormtrooper look I’m after. When summer comes around and the weather is nice I will match the lower valence. And a few other things.

I don’t know why anyone would want to remove this beauty! Hahah but if something happens to my truck ( I hope it never does) I’d have the shop buy the OEM just so I could sell it and buy another TSO hahaha

Do you mean removal of the trim? I have learned that if you yank on the plastic it will most likely break.

My trick would be to try to run some fishing line behind it and get it all the way to the end to rip the tape. Not sure if that would apply here.

Great product btw. I think it looks great, just that my wallet does not want to part that much for some plastic.

A limited owner in the GB received his. It fits, but as I expected the center section on the limited is as tall/wide. So for those with limiteds of you recieved yours or it's on the way. If the bottom tape doesn't contact the center section let me know and I will mail you new tape.

Moving forward for limiteds I will not install the bottoms tape. I will provide it for the owners to install on the lower section of the center section. I will write separate instructions for limiteds.

not trying to derail, but I had a quick question... Do you like the camera positioning better there or down lower?

I liked the lower spot until I installed my front bumper. The front bumper bar was taking away the bottom quarter of my screen, so I started plotting a move elsewhere. I now see portion of the newly installed black trim piece. Here's a not so great picture showing the current view - it's down to about 1/5 of the screen view being taken away.
